Fuel Heart Productions is an art and media company created and run by national singer-songwriter Carissa Johnson. Johnson got her start in the Boston area as a bassist and frontwoman, making a name for herself with her memorable straight-forward lyrics and hard-hitting melodies. She has toured the country extensively both as a solo acoustic artist and with her band, and has opened for national acts such as Damone, Dorothy, Thunderpussy, and the Damnwells. Having created the artwork and visuals for her own album releases, she decided to take things a step further and create the brand Fuel Heart Productions. The company is dedicated to supporting both developing and established artists, and has since expanded into a wide range of media creation, including but not limited to photography, music videos, show posters, band or brand logos, YouTube ad campaigns, album layouts, and website design. As of 2025, Carissa is the head booker at Queer Music Agency and Looking Up Agency, booking local and national acts of all genres for headline, support, tour and festival dates all around the U.S.
